Robert B. Sanders, CFA, CPA Portfolio Manager
Bob joined Howland Capital in 2006, after working for Fidelity Investments as a portfolio manager in their Private Portfolio Services Group. Prior to Fidelity, Bob held positions at Venture Economics, Workgroup Technology, Mathsoft, and Bernard F. Ryan & Co., CPAs. At Howland Capital, in addition to portfolio management, Bob specializes in international mutual fund research. He received a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the F. W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He is a recipient of the CTFA designation, and is a CFA charterholder. He is also a CPA and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society.
Bob lives in Lexington where he has been an active youth soccer coach for many years. He serves on the Board of Directors of Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers for the Disabled. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Carroll Center for the Blind and former Director of the Lexington United Soccer Club.
