Charlie joined Howland Capital in 1991, after working for Eagle Investment Associates and Drexel Burnham Lambert. At Howland Capital, Charlie focuses on portfolio management and estate planning for a broad range of families serving as trustee and executor for many of them. He graduated with a B.A. from the University of Washington, an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management, and is a CFA charterholder. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Charlie also serves on the board of National Advisors Trust Company, FSB and the Finance Committee of the YWCA-Boston. He is a twenty-year rider in the Pan-Mass Challenge, an avid backcountry skier, sailor, and an active rower, having won a silver medal in the 1984 Olympics.
