Giving Back

Art in Bloom turned 50 this spring—and we were honored to be part of the celebration. For half a century, Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts has invited some of New England's talented garden clubs, designers, and floral artists to transform masterpieces into living arrangements. It's one of those rare events that feels both timeless and entirely fresh each year. Every flower, every stem, every arrangement tells a story.

Cameron was back on the courts this spring for the SquashBusters Derby—and like last year, it was a reminder of why Howland Capital stays committed to this organization. SquashBusters isn’t just about squash. It’s about a student sitting down with a tutor and working through a challenging subject. It’s about young athletes building discipline, resilience, and the habit of showing up. It’s about pathways opening where they might not have existed before.

At Howland Capital, we believe in making a difference in our community. Recently, our team had the privilege of volunteering at St. Francis House. From meal preparation to serving food, sorting clothing donations, and contributing to special events, our employees worked in small groups to help bring St. Francis House’s mission to life. These volunteer shifts offered our team the chance to contribute directly to the work of this vital organization, connecting with both staff and guests along the way

This spring, Howland Capital was proud to support Art in Bloom, the Museum of Fine Arts’ annual celebration of art and nature. This cherished event brings together the talents of New England garden clubs, professional designers, and museum floral volunteers, who craft intricate arrangements inspired by masterpieces from the MFA's vast collection.

We are proud to have sponsored the New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) event at Topgolf. The evening was filled with fun and camaraderie, all for a truly inspiring cause.
