Hong Chen, CPA

Hong Chen joined Howland Capital in 2022 as a tax manager. Prior to joining Howland Capital, Hong held the following positions: tax auditor at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue focusing on large corporate audits, senior tax associate for partnerships and mutual funds at EY’s Financial Organization Service Department, senior tax associate for mutual funds at KPMG, tax accountant at John Hancock’s Investment Department and senior mutual fund tax analyst at JPMorgan.

She graduated from UMass Boston with a B.A. in management and an M.S. in accounting. Hong is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA).

In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography.
