Faisal joined Howland Capital in 2022. His joining the partnership acknowledges his contributions to our portfolio management process through his expertise in fundamental analysis, company management evaluation and risk management. Faisal plays an important role as mentor to younger employees, and his work continues to bring considerable value to both our clients and our firm.
Faisal’s professional background is distinguished by a breadth of experience at leading organizations within the financial industry. Prior to joining Howland Capital, he led the data analytics team at RMR, a prominent alternative asset management firm overseeing more than $30 billion in assets under management. Previously at Amundi Pioneer, Faisal was an analyst covering the consumer discretionary sector and was instrumental in raising over $2 billion in assets for a large-cap growth mutual fund. His other past roles include consumer and industrial sector analysis at Surveyor Capital, Columbia Threadneedle, and KeyBanc Capital Markets. He began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Faisal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Financial Risk Manager® designations, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and industry leadership.
