Cameron Rahbar is a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Strategist at Howland Capital, advising clients on a myriad of portfolio, estate, tax, philanthropic, and goal-based planning items. He specializes in helping families align their wealth with their personal objectives and values. Cameron works collaboratively with Portfolio Managers, Tax Department, Foundation Services, and Chief Fiduciary Officer to develop fully integrated and customized solutions for the firm’s clientele.
Prior to joining Howland Capital, Cameron was the Wealth Strategist at Anchor Capital Advisors, leading the firm’s planning efforts and strategy implementation for their clientele. Earlier in his career, he was one of the directors at TwinFocus Capital Partners, where he gained deep experience in complex balance sheet management, multi-generational estate planning strategies, and cross-border tax planning.
Cameron earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University while captaining the Men’s Varsity Squash Team. He subsequently obtained his Master of Science in Taxation with high distinction at Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business. Cameron is also a graduate of Noble & Greenough School and Dexter Southfield School.
Outside of the office, Cameron is involved in various philanthropic organizations throughout the community. He is an avid squash player and a dedicated Liverpool Football Club supporter. Cameron lives in Brookline with his wife Allison and their dog Mochi.
