Richard Kutia joined Howland Capital in 2024 and serves as the Chief Fiduciary Officer. He is responsible for overseeing the firm’s trusts and estates as well as developing integrated estate planning and wealth management strategies for our clients’ unique needs. Richard’s dedication to our clients and his fiduciary insights makes him an integral part of the team, continually fostering an environment of trust.

 

Richard is a non-practicing attorney who concentrated on the areas of estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, and estate tax planning.  With his extensive knowledge of estate and tax planning, asset protection and charitable giving, he provides expert guidance to our clients, enabling them to engage in more informed and comprehensive decision-making on a host of complex issues.

 

Richard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Connecticut, a Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston, and a Master of Laws from Boston University.

 

Richard is an active community member, volunteering regularly at Holy Name Parish School. Outside of his professional and community commitments, he enjoys cooking and golfing.
